Celebrating the Life of Carol O'Neill

Loving wife, mum, nanny, auntie and above all friend, Carol O’Neill passed away following a fall on Thursday 18th February 2021.

To say she will be missed is an understatement – she was a wonderful loving person, who cared deeply.  She was a loving wife to Don for more than 53 years, devoted mum to Debbie and Lisa and nanny with no end of love and treats for Luke and Abby.

Her spaghetti bolognaise, fruit cakes, shepherd’s pie and roasts will be missed as much as she is – no one cooked them quite like her.

The family would like to thank you for all your kind words and messages of condolence.  It is especially hard at this time, when hugs are not allowed, because, as those of you who knew her know, she gave the best hugs.

We know so many of you would like to have joined us on the day to remember Carol, but as we can’t all be together, we would ask that you raise a glass of a soft and fruity red, or a cup of milky English tea to her at 1.30pm on 23rd March.

We are requesting family flowers only, please, but donations, if desired, to Hospice in the Weald or the Pickering Cancer Drop In Centre. Both charities took great care of not only Carol, but also Don, showing great kindness and love.
